Finn introduces Anna Fox a severe agoraphobic.  Anna cannot leave her house but she watches the world around her through the window.  One evening she sees her new neighbor stabbed through the window, but when she reports it no one knows anything about it.  Is Anna just imagining things or is it a big cover up?

The War Bride's Scrapbook by Caroline Preston is a novel in pictures and journal entries written by Lila Jerome.  Lila has split the scrapbook into four parts starting with her life before meeting Perry Weld 1921-1943, their romance 1943, life without Perry 1943-1945 and homecoming 1945.  Read about what life was like for a southern young woman on the home front during the war.

Freefall by Jessica Barry alternates between Allison who's plane has crash landed in the Rockies and Maggie who is Allison's mother.  Maggie tries to come to terms with the person her presumed dead daughter has become while Allison is fighting for her life in the wilderness.

Dark Lake by Sarah Bailey is the first in a mystery series featuring police detective Gemma Woodstock.  The body of a local teacher, Rosalind Ryan, has been found floating in the lake after the opening night of her production of Romeo and Juliet.  Gemma went through school with Rosalind and as the investigation progresses many secrets from the past will come to light.

Sal by Mick Kitson introduces 13-year-old Sal who along with her younger sister Peppa has disappeared into the wilds of Scotland.  Their mother's boyfriend has threatened to go after Peppa next and Sal cannot let that happen.  So she decides to take matters into her own hands by taking Peppa and living off the grid.
