Inherit the Bones by Emily Littlejohn introduces Police Detective Gemma Monroe.  She responds to a murder at the traveling circus in Cedar Valley, Colorado.  What starts out as a simple murder investigation becomes tangled when the victim in none other than the missing son of the community's Mayor.  How did Nicky Bellingham who disappeared on a hiking trip three years ago end up murdered in the storage tent of a traveling circus?  It is up to Gemma to figure out what is going on.
