How to Fall in Love with a Man Who Lives in a Bush by Emmy Abrahamson is set in Vienna, Austria.  Julia teaches English to out of work Austrians and while waiting for a job meets a homeless man who  sits down next to her on the bench.  They strike up a conversation and she realizes this is the best conversation she has had in years.  A compulsively readable laugh out loud funny love story.

The Branson Beauty by Claire Booth introduces Hank Worth new sheriff of Branson County, Missouri who isn't sure he wants the job when he sees the paddle wheel boat aground in the middle of Table Rock Lake.  After the boat is towed to shore and the 160 passengers and staff exit Hank finds the body of a young woman on the boat.  Who would want the former Branson homecoming queen dead?  There are three titles in the series:
