Speak! by Annie England Noblin is a light southern chick lit story.  Addie has moved to Arkansas to get her Aunt Tilly's house ready for sale.  While there she makes lots of new friends, rescues a dog, and starts to investigate the people she believe is responsible for hurting her rescue dog Felix.

Pumpkin the Racoon Who Thought She Was a Dog by Laura Young is the story of a rescue raccoon in the Bahamas who became famous via her pictures in Instagram.  This book is a compilation of those pictures and the story of Pumpkin and her two best friends the dogs Oreo and Toffee.

The Zig Zag Girl by Elly Griffiths features Detective Inspector Edgar Stephens of the Brighton, England police force.  When a murder occurs in Brighton it takes him back to his years in World War II and has similarities to magic tricks performed by the magicians in his unit.
