Miss Aldridge Regrets by Louise Hare is set in 1936.  Lena Aldridge is a singer working in a seedy nightclub in London when she is recruited to perform on Broadway in New York.  On the ocean liner crossing the Atlantic one of the people at her dinner table dies by poison and it seems suspicion is falling on Lena.  If she wants to be cleared she had better find the real killer.  For fans of Kate Alcott, Mariah Fredricks and Erica Ruth Neubauer.
