The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan is a historical fiction novel that asks many difficult questions.  If you are on a lifeboat after a ship sinks which lives are more important?  What if the boat is too full and can hold no more passengers, how do you decide who stays and who to send overboard?  This is like Lord of the Flies on a lifeboat.
