Under the Cajun Moon by Mindy Starns Clark is a delicious recipe of intrigue and romance. Chloe wakes up in a hotel room in New Orleans with no recollection of the night before. There is a dead man in the room and somehow Chloe will have to get to the bottom of this mystery if she wants to be a free woman.  This is a fast paced thriller in the Christian Fiction section.

A Killer Read by Erika Chase is the first in a new cozy mystery series featuring Lizzie Turner a reading specialist who has helped start a mystery book club in her small town.  Now the club members get the chance to help solve a real murder mystery.  Not as easy as reading about it.

Sticks and Stones by K.J. Larsen is the second title in the Cat DeLuca mystery series.  Cat runs a detective agency that catches cheating spouses.  If you liked the early Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich I highly recommend this new series.

Defending Jacob by William Landay tells the story of assistant district attorney Andy Barber who is investigating the murder of a 14-year-old boy when he finds out the number one suspect is his own son.  How well can we know anyone?

The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice tells the story of reporter Reuben Golding who is attacked by two thugs and then a wolf like creature while he is on assignment writing a story for the paper.  The creature's supernatural powers are transferred to Reuben.  How will he live with these life altering changes.
