The K-Team by David Rosenfelt introduces a PI foursome made up of Laurie Collins a retired cop married to smart mouth lawyer Andy Carpenter, her friend from the force Cory Douglas, his K-9 partner Simon Garfunkle and Marcus who is the muscle.  The K-Team has just landed their first case.  A judge has been sent an anonymous threatening note and he wants to know who is behind it before his reputation is ruined.  This laugh out loud funny mystery is the first in a series.

April in Paris, 1921 by Tessa Lunney introduces Kiki Button a newly minted society reporter stationed in Paris.  However Kiki has been given instructions by her former boss and spymaster to find a mole in the City of Light while also searching for a missing Picasso panting.  There is much afoot and Kiki is working hard to get to the bottom of each mystery.

Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid is told from the viewpoints of 25-year-old babysitter Emira Tucker and influencer mom Alix Chamberlain.  When Emira is stopped at the grocery store with 2-year-old Briar and accused of kidnapping this white child things will change for both women.  This event will uncover some very disturbing things buried deep in Alix Chamberlain's past with far reaching consequences for both women.

Christmas by the Book by Anne Marie Ryan tells the story of Nora and Simon's bookshop. The shop isn't doing well and they will have to close after the new year.  Before that happens they run a contest to give away six books to six individuals who need a bit of hope during this holiday season.  Nora and Simon have no idea the impact their random acts of kindness will have on the six individuals who receive their books and how these gifts will affect and change lives.

The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews is a sweet Christmas novella.  Ivy Perkins buys an old farmhouse sight unseen only to find out the former owners loved Christmas.  In the closet she finds a Santa suit and in the pocket she finds a letter from a little girl who wants Santa to bring her dad home safe from the war. This letter prompts Ivy to search for the girl and her family to find out what happened and along the way Ivy makes new friends and may find love herself.
