Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan is a quirky humorous tale.  Clay Jannon is the night clerk at Mr. Penumbra's Bookstore.  There are some strange happenings at the bookstore and when Clay goes to open one of the shelved volumes he can't read it because it is written in a type of code.  Now Clay is on a mission to find out what is really going on at the bookstore.  Think Da Vinci Code meets Raiders of the Lost Ark  with computer nerds.
