A Death of No Importance by Mariah Fredericks introduces Jane Prescott a lady's maid in New York City.  A notorious playboy who has been showing interest in a Charlotte a young woman under Jane's charge is murdered.  Many think that Charlotte is responsible for his death.  It is up to the intrepid Jane to start sleuthing and find the real murderer.
