Carnegie's Maid by Marie Benedict is the story of Clara Kelly an Irish immigrant who goes to work as the ladies maid for industrialist Andrew Carnegie's mother.  Clara will do all necessary to ensure she keeps her job so she can help support the rest of her family in Ireland.  That means she will ignore the feelings she is devloping for her employer Andrew Carnegie.
