Spirit of Steamboat by Craig Johnson is a small Christmas novella by the author of the popular Longmire series.  Walt Longmire is in his office on Christmas eve when a young woman walks through the door bringing back memories of the blizzard on Christmas eve in 1988.  A young girl is badly burned in a car accident and Walt must do everything in his power to save the child, including a terrifying flight to Denver in an ancient aircraft with a cantankerous pilot.
