Some Girls, Some Hats and Hitler by Trudi Kanter is a memoir of the author's life between 1938 and 1945 when she lived in Vienna, Austria as a milliner before the war changed her world.  Kantor gives a unique perspective of that time in history as she is the catalyst behind saving her husband and parents from the Nazi invaders by procuring passage and escaping to England.
