Jump the Gun by Zoe Burke features Annabelle Starkey who is a little like Stephanie Plum.  Annabelle gets herself into a situation when she agrees to a trip to Las Vegas with a man she has just met.  Now they are being chased by a man who says he's a cop and she can't figure out why he is after her.
