Map of Lost Memories by Kim Fay is set in 1925 and follows Irene Bloom as she travels half way around the world looking for 12 scrolls that tell the history of the Khmer civilization who lived in what is now Cambodia.  These scrolls if located will assure Irene a place in any museum she would like to work and she will stop at nothing to locate them.
