The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett by Annie Lyons looks at the end of life experience.  Eudora is 85 and she is tired of life. She is ready to let it go until precocious 10-year-old Rose moves in next door.  Suddenly things are more exciting and Eudora hopes she is around long enough for the start of Rose's school year.
