The Paper Daughters of Chinatown by Heather B. Moore highlights a little known part of our history and introduces Donaldina Cameron who headed the Occidental Mission Home for Girls in San Francisco from 1900-1934.  Her mission is to help save young women who are brought to this country to work in the brothels of Chinatown.
