Closer Than You Know by Brad Parks follows Melanie Barrick who has just lost custody of her young son Alex.  She has no idea why until she returns home and sees the police tape across her house.  Evidently the police found a half a kilo of cocaine in the baby's nurser and now she is known as "Coke Mom."  Who has it in for her and how will she get her son back?
