The Swimmers by Julie Otsuka is a slim novella that packs a punch.  It starts at an underground community swimming pool where the reader meets Alice a woman suffering from dementia.  The story then moves on to Alice being placed in a care facility and how that move impacts her, her family and those at the facility.  A moving and powerful story.  Recommended for those who appreciated Fredrik Backman's And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer.
