The City Baker's Guide to Country Living by Louise Miller  follows Livvy a pastry chef who tends to run away when the going gets tough. That is how she ends up in Guthrie, Vermont working at the Sugar Maple Inn.  She has been hired to win the inn and its owner the blue ribbon at the county fair for apple pie.  Can she accomplish that and hold her life together?
