The Perfect Horse by Elizabeth Letts examines what happened to all the horses seized by the Third Reich during Word War II.  Thoroughbreds, Arabians and Lipizzaners from Poland and Austria are being threatened by the advancing Russian Army.  Should those who care about the horses contact the American Army to assist them and save the animals?  A very interesting look at a slice of military history.
