A Thousand Falling Crows by Larry D. Sweazy is an atmospheric mystery that doubles as a western.  Texas Ranger Sonny Barton is wounded in a shoot out with Bonnie & Clyde and must learn to navigate through life with only one arm and as a civilian.  When several unidentified young women are left dead on the farm to market road outside of town Sonny decides to pitch in and help solve these murders.
