Heroes Are My Weakness by Susan Elizabeth Phillips gives a nod to her favorite Gothic writers. In this novel Phillips has created a lighthearted contemporary romance with Gothic overtones.  Annie Hewitt is back on the island off the coast of Maine, the place that only holds bad memories from her teenage years.  Hopefully she won't encounter brooding Theo Harp again.  No such luck, and the sparks are flying!
