Letters to the Lost by Iona Grey features Jess who is squatting in an abandoned house while she tries to get her life together.  A letter is delivered to the house from an older gentleman in the United States.  He is looking for a woman he met during World War II and he would like to reunite with her before he dies.  Will Jess be able to locate the woman in time?

Winter Kill by Bill Brooks is western that starts out in Montana Territory.  John Henry Cole is ready to head to warmer climates when he is stopped by a man wanting his assistance in locating a woman.  This woman is special to John Henry and he is confused as to why someone else would be looking for her.  It seems she was involved in a murder and is now being tracked by bounty hunters.  They had better find her first if John Henry wants to see her again.

Lawyer for the Dog by Lee Robinson features miniature schnauzer Sherman who is about to tie up the court system in Charleston, SC.  Sally Baynard has just been named guardian ad litem for the dog.  She doesn't have time to babysit a pooch that the owners are fighting over, but somehow she is going to have to recommend which of the warring spouses gets to keep him in the divorce settlement.
