Sweazy is an atmospheric mystery that doubles as a western.  Texas Ranger Sonny Barton is wounded in a shoot out with Bonnie & Clyde and must learn to navigate through life with only one arm and as a civilian.  When several unidentified young women are left dead on the farm to market road outside of town Sonny decides to pitch in and help solve these murders.

Death Wears a Mask by Ashley Weaver features British society sleuth Amory Ames.  Mrs. Barrington invites Amory to a dinner party in the hopes Amory will spot a jewel thief.  Mrs. Barrington has been loosing jewelry every time she hosts a dinner party and she wants Amory to catch the culprit.

Dollbaby by Laura Lane McNeal is set in New Orleans in the 1960s.  12-year-old Ibby has been dropped of at her paternal Grandmother's house.  Until her father died she had no idea she had a grandmother.  Now she will be living with eccentric Fannie and Queenie and Dollbaby who keep house for Fannie.  Recommended for fans of Beth Hoffman's Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt and Kathryn Stockett's The Help.
