The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy Reichert is a light story about Milwaukee chef Lou Johnson whose restaurant Luella's is losing business thanks to a particularly nasty food review by new critic A.W. Wodyski.  Little does Lou know that A.W. and the nice guy Al she just met at the local pub are one and the same!

Invisible City by Julia Dahl is a murder mystery set in New York's Hasidic Jewish community.  Rebekah Roberts is a tabloid reporter assigned to follow the story of the woman who's murdered body is left in a scrap yard.  In the process Rebekah comes face to face with her Jewish roots.

The Time Between by Karen White is a story of relationships.  Eleanor is carrying around a lot of anger and guilt about her sister's crippling accident that occurred when they were teenagers.  Now she has the opportunity to be a companion for an older woman and that brings all these emotions to the surface.  Eleanor will have to deal with feelings she has been avoiding for years.
