Devil's Harbor by Alex Gilly is a thriller that follows Marine Interdiction Agent for Customs and Border Protection Nick Finn.  Nick is in trouble for using excessive force in an apprehension but the case seems to have ties to the Caballero drug cartel out of Mexico.  When Nick's partner is killed he knows he's getting close to the truth.  But, can he get to the bottom of this case without hurting everyone around him in the process?

November Rain by Donald Harstad is the latest title in his Carl Houseman series.  Carl is a deputy sheriff in Nation County, Iowa. A young woman from the county goes missing while studying abroad in London.  It is soon realized that she has been kidnapped by a group with terrorist ties.  What can Carl do when it is completely out of his jurisdiction?

Muller is the next title in our Pushing the Limits book discussion series.  We will discuss it on Thursday, September 24th at 6:30.  This book attempts to explain many physics concepts to the educated layperson, with specific applications to current issues like terrorism, energy and climate change.
