Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Ford tells the story of young William Eng who is living at Sacred Heart Orphanage in Seattle during the Great Depression.  His mother is gone and he is alone until he sees an ad for Willow Frost who is coming to town.  She is his mother, he knows it and he will do anything to see her one more time.
